Processes of Cognition in the Fourth Classes of Models of Social Communication and Original Model of Social Communications
Abstract
Research methodology. Among the empirical methods, our attention was attracted by the methods of observation and description, which made it possible to capture the peculiarities of identifying the processes of cognition in the analyzed models of social(s) communications(s). The theoretical axiomatic method has allowed us to take the axiom of the thesis that there are certain models of social communication, in the structure of which the functions of the processes of cognition are fixed. The hypothetical-deductive method became a pillar during the hypothesis's nomination and its practical verification. Among the general methods, we chose the dialectical method as a way that allowed us to regard the principle of general communication, the principle of development, the principle of principle of system, the principle of causality, and the principle of historicism as the theoretical basis. To carry out our study, we needed an arsenal and general scientific methods, namely: analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalization, induction, deduction, analogy, modeling and classification. Each of the listed general scientific methods was aimed at the search and identification of cognitive processes in the analyzed models of social communication(s) and criteria for constructing the original model of social communications.
Results. Four classes of models of social communication(s) are proposed and the criteria for creating the original model of social communications are formulated.
Novelty. Based on certain criteria, a model of social communications was developed, proposed by Alexander Kholod and Anna Kholod. For the first time in the field of «Social Communications» the place of cognition processes (cognition) is defined in those 16 models of social communications that were described in the previous two articles.
Practical significance. The results of the study can be used to form the theory of social communication and to improve the existing model of social communication proposed by O. M. Kholod.
Key words: social communications, perception, identification, cognition, interpretation, transformation, understanding, verification, discourse, correction.
